The Austin Trail of Lights, presented by H-E-B, is the city’s longest-running holiday tradition, celebrating its 61st year in 2025. Held annually in Zilker Park, the event transforms the park into a winter wonderland with more than 2 million lights, 70 displays, interactive attractions, food trucks, and live entertainment. The Trail runs nightly from December 10–23, welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors of all ages. Half of the nights offer free general admission, and children under 12 always enter free. Produced by the Trail of Lights Foundation, the event continues to celebrate the spirit and community of Austin each holiday.
