Join the Austin–Taichung Sister City Committee and Austin Sister Cities International (ASCI) for a free, family-friendly celebration commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the Austin–Taichung Sister City Partnership.
Since 1986, Austin and Taichung, Taiwan, have shared a lasting friendship built on cultural exchange, education, business collaboration, and citizen diplomacy. This special anniversary celebrates four decades of meaningful connections between our communities and the people who have helped strengthen them.
Enjoy an afternoon of live cultural performances, community and cultural booths, authentic Taiwanese street food and boba, family-friendly activities, and raffle prize drawings, while learning more about Taiwan.
