Talk about two birds for one well-priced stone: This annual fundraiser funnels much-needed donation dollars to Central Texas Food Bank while also encouraging diners to explore the bounty of Austin restaurants through prix fixe meals. Nearly 100 Austin establishments are participating in this year’s event, via $25 lunch or brunch menus, dinner for $50 or $75, and drinks or other specials with donation givebacks built into the pricing. With options ranging from pizza (Hoboken, Bambino) to steakhouse (Perry’s) to wine bar (APT 115), noodles (Xian), and even wings with a side of mini-golf (The Dirdie Birdie), there’s no excuse not to get out there and nosh for a good cause. – Kimberley Jones
