From the king of Southern queer comedy, Del Shores (Sordid Lives, Southern Baptist Sissies), comes a brand-new work featuring his signature sass and wit. Frequent collaborator Emerson Collins stars as math professor Rick, whose cheatin’ husband Joah (Chris Skinner) has just flown the coop, leaving his eccentric mama Lou Wanda (Cynthia Sanders) and Rick to form something of a found family. Shores himself directs this regional premiere and will also host the Sept. 6 Glitter Social, an intimate Southern-style brunch to benefit Austin Rainbow Theatre.
