Come celebrate Native American heritage at the largest one-day powwow in the country. There will be dance performances and food vendors sharing their favorite Native cuisine. After watching the dancers and getting some delicious fuel, stop by one of the many craftsmen for traditional jewelry and clothing to remember the occasion. The event starts at 9am and general admission tickets are $10, but children under 12 can get in free of cost. Parking is also free, something you rarely hear in Austin. – Laura Rivera
