Hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog, Reader: It’s time to turn your love for the tubed meat icon toward a good cause. This porky play on the typical bar crawl instead asks Austinites to trawl for hot dogs, with the money raised benefiting local farm support org Farmshare Austin. But how does one join the fun? Just show up at Seventh Street wine bar Lolo’s around 11am this Saturday ready to house myriad dogs, and purchase a scorecard. Then off – vámonos! – you’ll head toward this year’s participants including Uptown Sports Club, Nixta Taqueria, T-Loc’s Sonoran Hot Dogs, Zee’s Wiener System, Grandpa Glizzy’s, and Patty Palace. – James Scott
