After months of sweating through one outdoor fest after another, the Austin Food & Wine Festival regularly arrives just when fall is announcing itself here – when the crispness of the air is matched by that Chardonnay you’re enjoying as you amble between tents along Auditorium Shores. This year, about 80 industry professionals assemble, from pastry chefs and pitmasters to food journos, hospitality pros, and TV personalities (including Top Chef season 22 winner Tristen Epps), for a weekend of tastings, demos, and informative sessions.
