Austin Empty Bowl

Each year, local pottery artists create thousands of unique soup bowls to donate to Austin Empty Bowl, a fundraising effort benefitting two area nonprofits fighting food insecurity. Art, advocacy, and service convene at this annual event. Pick out a bowl of your choice and settle in for soup and live music at $30 per person, beginning at 11am. Guests are invited to take their bowls home with them as a reminder of those with empty bowls across the community. – Catharine Li
