The sensation began in 2021 over in Pittsburgh, but how could the most car-centric state not get in on competitive parallel parking? If you’ve got the smarts, prowess, and spatial awareness, this weekend’s local edition of the vehicular sensation is the perfect place to show off your skills. Interested drivers are encouraged to sign up upon arrival with a $5 entry fee – donated to the fine folks of SAGE Studio & Gallery. From there, all sedans, SUVs, and small trucks & cars will be judged on their ability to park accurately and quickly. No big trucks allowed, sorry! Or not sorry, TBH, y’all get basically everything else in Texas. Back-up cameras and self-parking mode are also verboten; cheaters never prosper, after all. – James Scott
