Art Sale By Mexican Artist Gildalorena Martínez
Mexican artist Gildalorena Martínez will present dozens of original paintings and prints at a one-day art sale in downtown Austin.
Martínez is a career artist with 47 exhibitions in Mexico, Cuba and the U.S. Her work explores the forces that have shaped her life — womanhood and family, migration and displacement, the search for home and belonging — and transforms them into emotionally charged artworks.
Paintings at different price points will be available, from smaller works for first-time art buyers to larger pieces from her more ambitious projects. Martínez will be available throughout the event to discuss her work.
