One of the longest-running science fiction and fantasy conventions in the nation continues to look into the future. This year Micaiah Johnson is the Writer Guest of Honor, and will be discussing her meteoric rise in genre fiction since the publication of The Space Between Worlds, following in the footsteps of giants of the genre like Howard Waldrop, Neal Barrett Jr., and Bruce Sterling, who returns this year at Cyberpunk Guest of Honor. In total, more than 100 events are planned for the three-day event, including panel discussions, parties, signings, readings, maker sessions, a writer workshop, and an art show and dealers' room. – Richard Whittaker
