Austin’s Central Library is quite a bustling place, but its doors tend to lock before the sun goes down. For one night only, they’re staying open until (gasp!) 10pm for a step back into the Roaring Twenties. Whisper the password “books” to gain entry to the speakeasy and take in live music, dancing, and all the fine fashion of the era, from flapper dresses to pinstripe suits. Activities include a tea tasting with Austin English Tea Company, a murder mystery with Lin Cognito, 1920s trivia with Get It Games, plus crafts, a photo booth, and more. It should be the cat’s meow! – Kat McNevins
