Since she burned down in a May 21 fire, Austinites have come together to mourn Malin, the Thomas Dambo-designed, volunteer-built wooden troll who presided over Pease Park from March 2024 until her passing. On June 24, the Pease Park Conservancy invites woodowers to convene at the scene of the blaze and share in a night of remembrance featuring music, memory, and sweet treats. – Adam Elayan
