Agent Orange was the surf-thug side of early Eighties Orange County punk. They were as pop-soaked as the Adolescents or other slamdance denizens of the Orange Curtain, while laying Dick Dale leads over post-metal guitar riffs that resembled Johnny Ramone playing through Blue Öyster Cult’s backline. Founding singer/guitarist Mike Palm fronts a six-year-old lineup these days, featuring bassist Perry Giordano and drummer Sandy Hanson. With no new release since 1996’s Virtually Indestructible, expect wall-to-wall Agent Orange greatest hits: “Bloodstains,” “Everything Turns Grey,” “Too Young to Die,” etc. – Tim Stegall
