ABDUCTEE
Scottish Rite Theater, 207 W. 18th St. | Sat., July 11, 7pm | $10
A man with lifelong sleep paralysis starts to believe the frozen, helpless moments aren't just neurological. What follows unravels him and his sister trying to hold him together. Self-distributed and studio-free, Abductee is a psychological sci-fi thriller making its way across the country one indie theater at a time. The Scottish Rite's rustic walls and century-old atmosphere make it the perfect place to watch something that thrives on dread and the feeling that something unseen is close.
