Twenty-five years ago, on Oct. 5, 2000, Amy Sherman-Palladino introduced us to Stars Hollow, a glorious small Connecticut town where niche community festivals happen every day, Sonic Youth and Sparks are nameless troubadours, and two women maintain their Aughts-appropriate figures despite subsisting entirely on Pop-Tarts and diner food. Truly nothing makes sense in the world of Gilmore Girls, but that’s not why we love it. Celebrate the best of the WB dramedy – that is, the music, the food, and the community – at this Vegas/Volstead party, featuring Luke’s burgers by Bad Larry and performances of the series soundtrack by members of Lola Tried, Quiet Company, Subpar Snatch, and more. – Carys Anderson
