Earlier this year, Rich Brotherton announced that he had been diagnosed with ALS. The producer and guitarist has been a linchpin of the local music scene since first anchoring in Austin in 1985, and the guests gathering to celebrate Brotherton and fundraise for his anticipated care are testament to the artists he has inspired. Lyle Lovett, Patty Griffin, Charley Crockett, Mary Gauthier, Loudon Wainwright III, Bruce Robison, and Jimmie Dale Gilmore and Butch Hancock are among the all star bill, as well as performances from Brotherton and his current outfits Ulla and Purgatory Players.
