Every year, Austin democratically chooses a President of Potshots, a Dictator of Dick Jokes, a Queen of Quips, a Prince of Prank, a Minister of Merriment, a Lord of Laughs – a King of Komedy, if you will. Austin’s reputation as a comedy town has recently been defined by the Mothership and the Kill Tony of it all – but as a democracy, we can prove that it’s time to flip tables and elect some new leadership to represent the true spirit of Austin.
