Out of This World (and Out of the Recycling Bin) 16th Annual Trash Makeover Challenge Blasts Off with "Cosmic Couture"

The Texas Campaign for the Environment (TCE) hosts the 16th Annual Trash Makeover Challenge, an eclectic fashion show where trash isn't just recycled — it's reincarnated as red-carpet-worthy runway looks. This year's theme, "Cosmic Couture," sends designers into orbit with an intergalactic twist on sustainable fashion. Since 2011, the Trash Makeover Challenge has inspired designers and artists to rethink waste, transform trash into high fashion, upcycle and raise funds to fight for a cleaner, healthier Texas environment. Fashion, music, drinks, food and a silent & live auction.
