The doctors told Pat's family she would likely spend the rest of her days in a nursing home. But thanks to intensive "boot camp" therapy at Austin Speech Labs and support from family and friends, the impish Pat did what she has spent a lifetime helping others do: She defied the odds. Today, Pat is back to doing what she does best – calling the shots.
