When a mutt (and his or her person) needs to hit the "paws" button on the hustle and bustle of the city, it's just a strain of the lead down Lake Austin Boulevard to the Tom Miller Dam: Hello, outdoor recreation, doggy-style. The water is cold and clear for lapping or leaping, the ruff trails provide plenty to sniff, and there's ample room for a game or two of fetch. Pure canine bliss.
