Other than "Mind Your Own Business" and "Not Telling," Hamiton Pool tops our readers' list of secret swimming holes. It's no secret that Hamilton Pool is a rejuvenating retreat, a small natural grotto formed when a cave fell in thousands of years ago, a lush forest paradise, with overhanging moss-covered cliffs, and clear, cool water. It's a bit of a drive, but it's worth it. Because, after the car ride, the $5 vehicle fee, and the 15-minute hike down the hill, one is met by Eden itself. Just keep an eye out for the snapping turtles and biting catfish.
