Some of us are learning to accept old age gracefully and find we are no longer ashamed to indulge our formerly secret love of romance novels. They're picky - a clerk confessed that they couldn't take any more Danielle Steele - but the idea of being able to trade in the book it took two days by the pool to read is very appealing.
