This category is a bit confining: Carl Hickerson may well be Sixth Street's most colorful and recognized personality, never mind the "crazy" appellation sometimes patched to his name. The clubs come and go and change names, but along with frat rats, bowheads and street corner musicians, Carl and his carnations are one of the sights you can always count on seeing. (P.S. He has a secret to twirling the flowers: he inserts a straight pin into the stem's bottom and spins them thusly.)
