SUMMARY:Jane’s Due Process 25th Anniversary Gala
DESCRIPTION:As major fundraisers\, gala events tend to be prohibitively expensive\, but this one we’re recommending for a few reasons – including the more manageable $75 ticket tier for folks 25 and under. Nonprofit Jane’s Due Process has been an essential part of Texas’ reproductive care landscape\, connecting young people to abortion care\, birth control\, education\, and support for a quarter-century. This anniversary celebration event\, emceed by Austin drag royalty Alexander the Great and honoring Council Member Vanessa Fuentes for her work supporting reproductive and human rights\, also boasts a mystery guest of sorts: the unveiling of Jane’s Due Process’ new name\, one they say will better reflect JDP’s evolution into “a full-spectrum reproductive and sexual healthcare support organization for young Texans.” &#8\;– Kimberley Jones
