SUMMARY:Judy Punches Back
DESCRIPTION:She’s not gonna take it anymore! First staged in 2019 and toured throughout the country since\, this puppet production by the Austin-born\, Boston-based Sarah Nolen pops up at the Vortex. Nolen revisits the classic character as a feminist figure\, allowing Judy of Punch and Judy to have her own story complete with “respect\, justice\, and a well-deserved nap.” But just because the show’s woke doesn’t mean it’s broke\, as there’ll be plenty of goofy slapstick comedy to keep you\, your kids\, and even the alligator giggling. &#8\;– James Scott
