DESCRIPTION:September is Recovery Month\, begun in 1989 by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to raise awareness and acknowledge the success of mental health and addiction treatment. Austin has been celebrating it with Recovery in the Park since 2015\, now evolved to an indoor/outdoor event with an array of activities for all ages. Inspiring guest speakers and musicians will take the stage outside\, where there’ll be food trucks and larger activities. Recovery resource booths\, free food and drinks\, carnival games\, a silent disco\, yoga\, a sound bath\, wellness activities\, and lots more await at this full evening of family fun. &#8\;– Kat McNevins
