DESCRIPTION:Austinite Jeff Nichols has made some pretty high-concept movies over the years\, but in a recent Variety interview\, he boiled it down to “I guess I’m always making relationship dramas.” You can pull that thread all the way back to his dynamite first feature\, a tale of two sets of warring brothers set in Nichols’ native Arkansas and starring Michael Shannon in one of his most striking performances.
