DESCRIPTION:As the lovely library puts it\, “Aging is a journey best taken with knowledge and support.” And who better to provide knowledge than the library? APL has gathered over 10 of the city’s best resources for information on healthy aging\, who’ll be on hand from 1 to 4pm with information booths and activities designed to help you or a loved one plan for the best time of life. Learn about diabetes\, improving cognition\, brain games\, breathing and posture\, and more along with a live concert from Project Melody and a showcase of programs the library offers in support of the older adult. Wear comfy clothing for the 3pm meditation if you’d like to join in\, and be timely as seats for that are limited. &#8\;– Kat McNevins
