DESCRIPTION:Literally translated as “Fruits of Death\,” this play from Glass Half Full explores what can arise from decay\, drawing on mycology and curanderismo to tell the story of a young Guatemalan woman named Ixq’anil and her aunt Adela finding their way through a dark time. Movement and puppetry artists tell the tale that finds the pair exploring fungi\, science\, and Indigenous wisdom on their journey. This version draws on a variety of resources and builds on their work-in-progress showing at Crashbox last fall\, and a mix of languages are spoken in the performance\, but they took great care to ensure English-only speakers will understand. &#8\;– Kat McNevins
