A big high-five, a citywide group hug: Our annual Best of Austin issue is all about cheering on the home team.
Our readers did most of the work, choosing 175 winners across eight categories in our annual Readers Poll. (By the way – pause for airhorn – 33,055 voters cast 423,142 votes in the last round of voting. Way to show up, y’all!) The Chronicle’s Editorial staff and a handful of our contributors then doled out an additional 71 Critics Picks.
Together, these awards provide a unique snapshot of Austin in 2025, celebrating new hot spots, tried-and-true favorites, trusted professionals, and so many other incredible people putting in the work to make Austin so special.
